As a teacher i've always liked it when my students brought tapes so i could record what we've gone over. But of course, tapes are lost/forgotten and it doesn't always work out. I thought it would be cool to have sound samples of lessons on the internet that could be accessed from any computer. So i made a site to do just that. I even included pdf for easy printing. It's free for all of you to use, and teachers can use the material as much as they want. I just started it up so there's not much on it yet. Please help me get the forums on my site going by posting something interesting. thx alot. i've put a lot of work into this. I'd like to get feedback on my forums about it too, and some suggestions for lessons.

    the site is www.drumexpert.com

What can i say... GREAT idea!!!

How cool is that to have a forum where you can post lessons of your own! I mean, if you can get people to really start posting things, what a great single place to find a wealth of information. You could have such a great variety of knowledge and different slants on current ideas... VERY cool.

    Great, GREAT idea!

Phil, what would be very cool is if lessons could be submitted in musical notation. BTW, I don't have notation software.

<font size="2" face="Verdana, Helvetica, sans-serif">what do you mean? to submit a lesson you could just write it out and scan it. Or just give an idea of what you'd like to see, ex. triplet fills.
